Announcement of Commencement
We are pleased to announce our WYPSA Basketball League 2009-10 will be commencing on 09 JAN 2010. A total of 9 teams will be participating this year and the format will be Qualifying Round + Final Round (first 4 teams), thus each team will play at least 8 games throughout 8 weeks and the Final games will be held on the 9th week.

    Wah Yah League Cup Basketball Tournament 2007-2008

    Dear buddies, the PSA of WYHK & WYK are jointly organizing a basketball league. The enrollment now  begins and the captains' meeting will be held on 8 December, 2007 and the first matches will be taken on 15 December, 2007. Your support by participating in the game is most welcome.

    Basketball League

    Dear basketball fanatics,

    Good news. the PSAs of WYHK & WYK are planning to jointly organize a basketball league for our buddies in December this year. We are now requesting interested people to form teams to participate in the game which we hope will be a regular event of the PSA. More details will be released shortly or you can contact Peter Lai or Donny Mak for the progress.

    One requirement is that all the players should be the alumni of the two schools.

    憑 第 四 節 初 段 打 出 十 二 比 ○ 的 攻 勢 ， 香 港 隊 昨 在 第 十 三 屆 超 級 工 商 盃 國 際 籃 球 邀 請 賽 決 賽 ， 以 七 十 六 比 六 十 一 力 挫 美 國 福 建 精 英 隊 ， 以 五 戰 全 勝 姿 態 冕 冠 軍 。

    港 隊 教 練 麥 錦 輝 說 ： 「 今 仗 取 勝 在 於 防 守 戰 略 ， 胡 國 鋒 和 潘 志 豪 成 功 凍 結 對 手 兩 位 最 大 威 脅 球 員 ， 而 且 球 隊 亦 發 揮 出 高 空 優 勢 ， 結 果 取 得 勝 利 。 」

    Objectives:
    - To promote and enhance the Wah Yan Spirit through basketball activities.
    - To improve the skills and sense of basketball of the Wah Yan boys.
    - To link up the gaps of different age groups of Wah Yan Old Boys through the 'Saturday gathering'

    Programme:
    The programme is designed to be carried out through a 2-hour weekly training on basketball (which tentatively scheduled to be a 3-year programme) to develop a group of young Wah Yan Boys to promote basketball activities in the school. At the end of every 12 months training, a team consists of the young stars will play a visit to the Mainland China and do some friendly matches with the youngsters of the same age.
    They will also be invited to visit some of the CBA teams training camps in order to widen their views and enhance their interest in basketball. Through these activities, we hope to create a positive impact on the students to attract potential players to participate in the future activities who will be the root of our future development. The weekly training is held on every Saturday at WYCHK.
