Beloved uncle, Tang Man Chan (鄧文燦), passed away peacefully at the age of 69 on 8 November 2002 following a brave fight against cancer.He studied in the Robinson Road campus from 1948 to the early 1950s.Although not a practicing Catholic, he was proud to tell many stories about his time with the Jesuit fathers.A successful businessman, he was respected and loved by his many friends and relatives.His connection with Wah Yan was continued by his grandson studying in Pun U.A Chinese funeral service will be held in the morning of Friday, 22 November 2002 at Perpetual Funeral Parlour (永恆殯儀館), No. 6 Cheong Hang Road, Hung Hom followed by cremation at the Diamond Hill Crematorium in the afternoon.He shall be missed with much sadness.
